Labor Day Returned to Laborers – CAIR Whines Bloggers Et Al Win

August 9, 2008

Tyson caves under pressure.

They have reinstated Labor Day as one of the designated paid holidays. Eid al-Fitr will be a paid holiday for this year only.

As an aside. Reinstatement or not. Tyson products will not be purchased for my consumption.
Ever again.
Any company who favors a minority of 200 Muslim workers (out of 1200) while simultaneously trashing an American Federal holiday will not profit from my household.

I have no stomach for dhimmi appeasers and apologists. Or any food product they may manufacture.

Or to quote my friend Ronin:

Cave or not I will continue my personal boycott. I realize everything they make is not sold under the Tyson name but those products that are will never enter my home. Unless we vote with our bucks and show these pc dhimmis to fear us more than empty jihadi threats more and more businesses will continue to suck up. Support islam and you support everything I loath. I just can not find it in my heart to accept pedophilia, slavery and the forced ideology just because some clown calls it a religion.

Getting back on track…
Ibrahim Hooper, Council on American Islamic Relation’s (CAIR) National Communications Director was of course incensed.

And had this to say…

“This wasn’t something imposed. It seems that this backtracking would be the result of the backlash from anti-Muslim hate (Web) sites and Islamophobes on the Internet,”

Score! Thanks Ibrahim, your disdain for [free] Americans raising their voices makes for a much sweeter victory.

Appreciate it.

Shelbyville, Tennessee’s mayor, along with some elected state officials, made this statement in a letter:

For over a hundred years, Labor Day has stood as a symbol to honor the working men and women of this country. But for the past few years traditions like Labor Day have been under attack. This time it’s gone too far and we, as patriotic Americans, must draw our line in the sand,” the letter said states.

Works for me…
