Video: "The Third Jihad – Radical Islam's Vision For America"

May 11, 2009

Third Jihad

The Third Jihad, the newest offering from the producers of the captivating documentary film, Obsession, explores the existence of radical Islam in America and the emerging risk that this “homegrown jihad” poses to national security, western liberties and the “American way of life.”
In contrast to the use of “violent jihad” and terror to instill fear in “non-believers,” The Third Jihad introduces the concept of “cultural jihad” as a means to infiltrate and undermine our society from within.

C.A.I.R is of course not amused….good….

[…]Among those organizations invited to participate in the roundtable discussion is the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). However, CAIR has declined the invitation, a surprising turn of events considering the group’s usual insistence that a representative of their “mainstream Muslim” staff be present at such events to offer a “balanced perspective.” In fact, since the beginning of 2009, CAIR has requested such representation in at least three U.S. events focused on radical Islam.

We invited CAIR and they said they wanted nothing to do with this film,” said Connors. “CAIR’s response is unfortunate, as The Clarion Fund believes that the only way to address this issue is to discuss it openly and honestly with those who agree with us and those who disagree. Then, based on that education, the American public can decide for itself.”[..]

…because generally speaking, when C.A.I.R is unhappy it means somebody somewhere is doing something right.

As Creeping Sharia reports:

Odd, but not surprising. In Florida just a week ago, CAIR was complaining to a newspaper how they weren’t invited to the Free Speech Summit. Now, given a golden opportunity to speak freely with other Muslims about Islamic jihad – they decline. What gives? How long before they issue a press release calling Zuhdi Jasser and Clarion names that end in -ist or -ic?

CAIR’s modus operandi is whining and playing cards.

And I am not speaking of sipping Merlot while playing a game of Gin Rummy…

Right on cue, CAIR attacks. They fight TRUTH by shooting the messenger.

CAIR: Calif. Museum of Tolerance to Screen Islam-Bashing Film

LOS ANGELES, May 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) today called on the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) to cancel a Sunday screening of a film called “The Third Jihad” that the civil rights group says portrays Muslims as a “fifth column within the United States.”

In a letter to SWC founder Rabbi Marvin Hier, CAIR-LA Executive Director Hussam Ayloush wrote in part:

“This film, like its discredited (discredited by whom?) predecessor ‘Obsession,’ seeks to portray American Muslims as a fifth column (The fifth column exists regardless of CAIR’s subterfuge) within the United States.  It is the moral and ethical equivalent of the scurrilous ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion.’ You, of all people, should know the negative impact such false and defamatory portrayals can have on a minority community. (CAIR twisting the truth and insisting everyone follow their lead is anti-American at it’s core.)

SEE: Obsession with Hate

“Screening ‘The Third Jihad’ is akin to showing the Nazi-era ‘Triumph of the Will,’ which stereotyped Jews, or ‘Birth of a Nation,’ which vilified African-Americans…

“The film disingenuously claims it is only targeting ‘radical Islam,’ yet a twitter account of the Washington, D.C., screening on Wednesday night stated: ‘Three Jihads’ First, 7th century burst out of Arabia…Second, Turks push to gates of Vienna…Third, TODAY…The 1400-hundred year war ‘clash has been going on since the beginning of Islam.’

“These statements encompass the entirety of Islamic history and culture. Is that what the Wiesenthal Center believes we are fighting and have been fighting since the inception of Islam?…

“In a pluralistic society in which healthy community relations are a necessity, agenda-driven films such as this do little to diffuse confusion about religious minorities and educate the public in an honest and credible manner…

“As an institution that claims as its goal: battling of hatred and bigotry across the world, I am disappointed to see the Wiesenthal Center engage in promoting hatred and bigotry against another minority — American Muslims…”

Last year, CAIR-LA joined Jewish leaders in denouncing the Wiesenthal Center for building a “Museum of Tolerance” in Jerusalem on what was once the largest Muslim cemetery in Palestine.
